Graduations, hospital discharges, hotel check-ins and dinner reservations get ordered days out with a date attached, which is the easiest kind of delivery to get exactly right. Both are fine — put the gate code, unit number, floor or department in the order notes and the driver will not lose time at the curb. If a building will only release a delivery to the recipient, we call ahead rather than leave it sitting.
